Humanity Hospital is a charitable hospital operating under the umbrella of Humanity Trust. The deepest pang of losing her husband who died untreated because they were poor and could not afford the much needed medical treament, plowed in the mind of Suhasini Mistry, the seed of creating a hospital which will stand by this large section of poor people in our country and save countless lives.
She took all hard roads to earn her daily living and looking after children and made Ajay, her son, a doctor. And now was the time to let her dream come true.
In 1996, Humanity Hospital started its operation in a small village named Hanspukur in West Bengal. A true tale of dedication, commitment, vision, ambition and great determination came upto reality.
Today, the hospital is offering free medical treatment to thousands of patients per year and slowly expanding its reaches to the remotest corner of the region where still there are many who lack access to affordable medical treatment.
